Aloha!!

Tonight I booked our flights for our trip to Hawaii at the end of May. It has been almost 22 years since the last time I was there. Some of you may know that I went all 4 years of high school out there and graduated from Aiea High School. I loved living there and I can't wait to go back and see how much it has changed.

I AM A SOUTHERNER !!!

Okay, so Cindy put a link on her blog page to test and see how Dixie we are. After answering the questions I only scored like 73%. I was disturbed by this seeing that I was born in the peach state, lived in the Palmetto state, and the sunshine state, and went to college in the volunteer state. For those of you that are less southern than I evidently am that equates to Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee. I resorted to turning my radio on 101.5 today. I may just have to break out my southern accent and give Cindy a run for her money.

Well, I've had real estate closings before with buyer clients, but today I had my first closing on one of my listings. It was pretty exciting.

I called my sister-in-law today when I heard about all of the power outages in Florida. They live in Tampa so I wanted to see if they were affected. They were not. I did, however, get to talk to my niece and nephew. Sophie is almost 4 and Will is almost 2.

Wake-Up Call

I loved it! I told Nick a few days ago after seeing the video of one of the Pathfinder's Wake Up Call that I mentioned to Tyler that he could add Nick's name to the list of prospects. Nick has been asking me all week if they were going to come to our house this weekend for a wake up call and I honestly told him no. Well...Tyler asked Lance and me last night at drop-off if they could come this morning to do a video. Pastor-San and Shadow Dancer showed up at our door at around 5:00 this morning. It was hilarious!!

The boys are having a great time. I hope and pray that there will be lifelong effects from this weekend. These are memories that will last a lifetime. Even if I am running on just 2 hours of sleep right now. This is a picture of some of the boys during the video. Rough looking bunch, yeah?

Invasion of the 6th Grade Boys!!

Well, the day has finally come for Amplified weekend. Not too sure if I was really ready for it. If anyone knows me well they know that I am not one for sleepovers, but...I thought...this is for my son and his friends and it's an investment into their future. Whew! It's now 11:42 p.m. and they are going strong! Check out this little snippet of their time here.

All right, it was said Sunday that I should only blog if my posts are going to be fun and cool. Well, I'm not quite as humorous and witty as some of my counterparts, but I'm going to give it my best shot.

I realized Sunday that I am the only one in my family that can take pictures without closing my eyes when the flash goes off. I love taking pics with my kiddos and they hate it, but they endure it. However, the only problem is that they cannot keep their eyes open when the camera flashes. Below you will find a sample of what I am talking about.
